Television
Cable Television service is available throughout Horry County. Cable firms operating in the area are Time Warner and Horry Telephone Cablevision.
Residents in most parts of the County are able to pick up six stations representing the three major networks when cable is not desired or available. In addition, WCOX, a Time Warner Station, operates on channel 12, FOX 43 broadcasts on channel 43, WBTW on channel 13, WWMB on channel 21, and WPDE on channel 15 (or channel 9 on Time Warner). All stations have a Myrtle Beach presence.
